     Anyone eligible as a patient with the Indian Health Service (IHS) can receive care at our facility.

    We are committed to promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being through a holistic healthcare approach. By integrating traditional healing methods with modern medical practices, the Tribal Health Center aims to honor cultural heritage while delivering comprehensive care.     Our History 

    The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe’s healthcare history is a testament to the tribe’s steadfast commitment to improving health outcomes for its people. The journey has been marked by challenges and triumphs, but through perseverance and strategic use of government acts and treaties, the tribe continues to offer quality healthcare services that honor their past and support their future.

    Our Commitment 

    The Tribal Health Center is dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare to our patients. We provide patient-centered services in an outpatient setting. Our extensive range of services include diagnosis, observation, consultation, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation. In accordance with 42 CFR Section 136, we extend our services to all IHS-eligible Native American individuals. This includes those of lineal descent living on or near the Flandreau Santee Sioux Reservation (Moody County) as well as students attending the Flandreau Indian School.

    Becoming a Patient:

     

    Call us at (605) 997 - 2642 to talk with one of our friendly receptionists.
    They will discuss the registration process, including the required forms and documents.
    Registration Process:
    • In-person registration is preferred
    • Blank registration forms can be mailed or emailed
    • Please do not email completed forms, contact one of our receptionists and they can send you a secure email to protect your Protected Health Information.
    Save time by printing and completing the forms to bring with to you.

    Once you are a registered patient, simply call the Health Center at (605) 997 - 2642 and one of our friendly receptionists will direct you to the appropriate department.

    WELLNESS CENTER CLOSING ON JUNE 5TH, 2026...
     
    Wicoicaga Otipi  (A place for future generations) Community Center will combine space with the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribes upcoming Wellness Center. Construction is expected to last up to 2 years, projected opening dates in 2028.
