Grace Moore Citizens Center

Grace Moore Senior Citizens Center

The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribes Senior Citizens Center offers a special retreat for our Elderly members.

Each day, Monday through Friday the Center is open from 7 am until 3 pm. Members, spouses, friends and family are more than welcome to utilize the facilities and all that the Center has available.

“We are very thankful for and enjoy the south side view, comfortable surroundings, and sunny location. Furthermore, we like the community center-type atmosphere and homemade-style meals each day.” said Director Gayle Soward.

Noon meals are served for a suggested donation price and “guest” price as well. The menus are planned with the greatest of thought and the meals are prepared and served with pride and care. Nutrition guidelines and elderly needs and preferences are considered as well.

Seniors citizens are welcome to “make themselves at home” at the Center. They can relax, read the newspaper, work on puzzles, play games, watch television, or simply visit with friends.

The Grace Moore Senior Center is truly a wonderful gift to our community. All Elders will find involvement opportunities, activities, and a time to socialize with other elders!
