Our Nursing Department provides on-site services including primary care, same-day services, wound care, IV therapy, and special injections.
Each nurse is dedicated to a specific provider or team within the Health Center.

The Tribal Health Center offers the following 100% covered Dental Services:
- Routine Cleanings

- Root Canals
- Extractions
Services that utilize additional dental laboratory expenses are available at a significant reduction in cost and a very modest out-of-pocket fee, even with dental insurance.

All treatment plans and arrangements must be made with your dentist at your exam appointment.

Dr. John Sivesind and his assistant Peggy are available to conduct eye exams every Wednesday at the Health Center. Bridget, Optician is available Monday - Friday, during regular business hours.

Staff are licensed by the South Dakota State Board of Pharmacy and offer consultation services on medication adherence, side effects, and drug interactions.
Services available:
Request medication refills by calling our automated refill line 605-573-0245. You can also message Pharmacy staff directly and securely through the app Rx Local.
- Accepts prescriptions via e-prescribing (e-Rx) from outside providers.
- Ask the Pharmacy team about how to sign up for text notifications when your prescription is ready.
- Please allow 2-3 business days for prescription refills to be processed.
- Medication Disposal: We collaborate with the State Board of Pharmacy to safely dispose of expired or unused medications. A "Pharma Drop" receptacle is available in the indoor Pharmacy lobby.
