Samantha Grace Williams, age 30, of Flandreau, South Dakota, journeyed to the Spirit World on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was born on June 29, 1991 in Flandreau, South Dakota, To Maureen Gina (Herrick) and David Williams. Samantha was the youngest of  three siblings, Cyndi Lee Williams, and Carlton James (CJ) Williams.

She  grew up in Flandreau and lived there all her life. Samantha graduated from the Flandreau Public School in 2009. After graduating, Samantha enjoyed listening to music, especially her favorite band, “The Real Young Swagg.” She also loved laughing and talking with family and friends on the phone. Samantha was a very caring person who loved her family dearly. In recent years, she lovingly took care of their parents in their home.

Survived by her sister: Cyndi Lee Williams; a brother: Carlton (CJ) Williams; Nephews: David, Davyen, CJ, Jr., & Darrion, Nieces: Tate, Christi, Miracle, and Viviene; her special friend Ashley Bierschbach; plus many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents, David and Gina Williams, her grandmother, Darlene Allen Bernard; grandfather, Maynard Herrick, Sr.; and her great grandparents, Ray and Laverne (Redwing) Allen. A wake was held on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Eastman Hall in Flandreau, South Dakota. Funeral Services for Samantha Grace Williams were Tuesday, February 22nd at Eastman Hall in Flandreau, South Dakota. John Bursheim and Tom Allen Jr. will officiate.  Interment at a later date a t First Presbyterian Cemetery in Flandreau, South Dakota. Drum Group will be “Wakpa Ipaksan”.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Cyndi Williams, Carlton (CJ) Williams, LaVonna “Bunny” Allen, Ashley Bierschbach, Judy Allen, Tina Crow, Leonard Stansbury, Rick Stansbury, DeSean Bernard, Dolores & Sam Allen, Ivan RedHorn, Desiree Nelson, Zach Crow, Jackie Allen, Cyndi Weddell, Derek Anderson, Brooki Corcoran, Julie Stephens, Daniel Weston, Daniel Schmidt, Bandon Hailstrom, Kimee Cadotte, Steve Nelson, Justin Cadotte, Mel Crow, and many other family and friends. Casket Bearers will be Bradlee Corcoran, Josh Peterson, Troy Kitto, Travis Kitto, Buster Cadotte, Jesse Owens, Philip Allen, and Steve Cadotte. Interment at a later date in First Presbyterian Cemetery, Flandreau, South Dakota. The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, Minnesota is serving the family.
