The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Police Department provides law enforcement, prevention and detection of crime. We enforce criminal and traffic laws within the boundaries of the reservation. Our purpose is to secure peace and to promote the general welfare of the Tribe and its community.
FSSTPD contracts our dispatch services through the Moody County Sheriff’s Office. If you need a Tribal Officer, you can call the non-emergency number 605-997-2423 and the Dispatcher will get you what you need. If it’s an emergency, call 911.
FSSTPD works with the Flandreau Police Department and the Moody County Sheriff’s Office with Mutual Aid Agreements.
