Ambulatory Care
Ambulatory Care is a patient-focused service that provides medical care in an outpatient setting, such as a clinic or medical office, without the need of an overnight hospital stay. It can include diagnosis, observation, consultation, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation services. In accordance with 42 CFR Section 136, we also provide care to all eligible Native American people, including individuals of Indian descent, residing on or near the Flandreau Santee reservation (Moody County) and Flandreau Indian School Students.

Our health center offers this type of care and has doctors, nurse practitioners and dedicated nurses, who provide Same Day Services, Primary Care, Acute / Chronic Care, Pain Management, Wound Care, Specialty Injections and IV Therapy.

Physical Therapy
Our Primary Physical Therapist ,Tim Scherschligt (PT/MSPT) offers many rehabilitation services to help manage chronic illnesses. He will assess and document patient progress, assisting individuals who are injured or ill in improving mobility and managing pain. Physical therapy plays a crucial role in preventive care, rehabilitation, and the treatment of patients with chronic conditions, illnesses, or injuries.
Tim helps our patients dealing with a chronic illness or disability take part in safe, effective exercise programs. This can help lower your blood sugar, blood pressure and can help you improve your ability to move, perform daily activities, and reduce pain.

Podiatry
Podiatrists are specifically trained to assess the nerve damage in your feet, identify your specific foot health risks, and help you come up with a treatment and prevention plan. A podiatrist is an important part of your health care team, especially for our diabetic patients.
Dr. Bellezza is onsite the 1st Tuesday of every month.
