Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe Housing Department

Housing in the Indian community consists of HUD low-rent housing projects and individual scattered sites. The Tribal Housing Department manages the housing program and provides maintenance.

The FSST Housing Department provides the following Housing Services:

1. Low Rent housing through the Tribe’s NAHASDA grant
2. Tribal rental properties: Tatewin Elder Apartments, Inkpa Duta Apartment Complex and Tiny Homes.
3. Down Payment Assistance for new homebuyers
4. Assistance to new homebuyers, such as Mortgage applications, Water and Sewer services through Indian Health Service
